Festival Halle became part of the Reedville Fishermen’s Museum and the Greater Reedville Association in 2009 when it was donated by the Birkel family to the Museum. The structure was built in 1908 and served as the Reedville High School, and later a middle school, until the late 1960s.
The Museum has embarked on an ambitious restoration project of the facility and thanks to numerous fundraisers and generous donations, the Halle has been greatly improved. We are proud of the new and improved facility which can accommodate any type of event. The Halle is available for rental year-round for:
Festival Halle can easily accommodate up to 200 people and is considered the largest venue on the Eastern Northern Neck. Chairs and tables are available and included in the rental fee. The kitchen is full service, and the Halle has a retractable movie screen on a lighted stage. Center floor plugs allow for equipment for slide shows, PowerPoint presentations and computer hook-up. Complete bathroom facilities, great lighting, easy parking, two large side areas with wood floors are all part of the many amenities offered.
