Museum Hours and Admission Fees

In 2021 the hours of operation at the Museum are:

Adults $5.00

Seniors Free $3.00 (55 and above)

Children 12 and under free

Veterans are free

MEMBERS & MEDIA PREVIEW EVENING Friday, April 30, 2021  5:30pm-7:00pm

Join your fellow members and see the refreshed exhibits and new displays before the public does! We are previewing the Museum, and the Model Shop, on Friday, April 30th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Bring a friend and join us for a glass of wine and a nibble as you tour the galleries in the Covington Building, or watch the model trains as they travel through the Northern Neck. Museum Opens May 1

Museum Re-opens on May 1st!The Reedville Fishermen’s Museum launches its 2021 season to visitors on Saturday, May 1 from 11am to 4pm at 504 Main Street in downtown Reedville, Virginia. Opening day will be highlighted by tours, a sale in the Museum Shop, the running of the model trains (11-3) and a campus filled with historic vessels, a monument to fallen watermen, and several memorial gardens. The public is invited to join us as we re-open the campus and museum galleries for the 2021 season which will extend until the end of the year. For the time being, the Museum will be open Thursday through Saturday from

11-4.


Exhibits are being refreshed and new displays are being fabricated before we re-open. The newest exhibition, “Beauty by the Bay,” will feature the artwork of local award-winning artist Brenda Sylvia. Brenda will be on hand on May 1st to discuss her work which illuminates the natural beauty of the Chesapeake Bay and the waters that surround historic Reedville. Join your friends and family on May 1st to celebrate the thirty-third year of the Museum’s existence. Masks required, please. For more information contact us at 804-453-6529.
